In an unprecedented joint meeting, the Anti-Grunge Council, the Anti-Grunge Society, the Association Against Sweat Pants, Concerned Widows Against Grunge, and several other anti-grunge organizations agreed to issue the following statement concerning crops and capris: "We agree that crops and capris are grunge and should not be worn by civilized human beings. We fervently hope that nothing more need be said about them and that they will die a quiet death along with so many other articles of ridiculous, unsuitable clothing."
